Midweek Mingle & Learn January 2026 Schedule

The Mercer Senior Center invites the community to its January lineup of Midweek Mingle & Learn, a free weekly program offering engaging presentations, useful information, and a welcoming place to connect.

Programs are held Wednesdays from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at the Mercer Senior Center and are free and open to all ages. Hot drinks and fresh baked goods are available during each session.

January Programs Include:

  • January 7 – Click, Find, Connect: Your Guide to the New Iron County Website
    Rebecca Holm, designer of the new Iron County website, will introduce the site and demonstrate how to easily find county resources and services online.
  • January 14 – Ask ADRC: Answers, Resources & Support for Living Well
    Trista Olson, ADRC/Aging Manager, will discuss the wide range of services available through the Aging and Disability Resource Center and answer audience questions.
  • January 21 – Full Steam Ahead: What’s New at the Mercer Area Historical Society
    The historic Mercer Depot, built in 1905 and beautifully restored, now serves as home to the Mercer Area Historical Society and houses a fascinating collection of railroad and Northwoods memorabilia. Dean Gustafson will share updates on recent projects and highlight the exciting plans the Historical Society has in store for the future.
  • January 28 – Ready, Set, Winter: Car Care for Cold-Weather Driving
    Brian Smith of Mercer Rentals will offer practical tips for winterizing vehicles and staying safe on the road during cold Northwoods weather.

Midweek Mingle & Learn provides an opportunity to connect with the community, discover new ideas, and explore a variety of informative topics in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Guests are welcome to stay for lunch provided by the Aging and Disability Resource Center. Lunch reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance by calling 715-561-2108, ext. 1.
