Stummin’ with Steve Swalve

Tap your toes and enjoy a morning of music at the Mercer Senior Center on Wednesday, August 27 at 10:30 a.m. with Strummin’ with Steve Swalve.

Steve, originally from Northern Illinois and a Mercer resident for the past 20 years, has been making music for most of his life. He began playing viola at age nine, performing with the Rockford, Illinois Symphony Orchestra while still in junior high and high school in Freeport, Illinois. At age 30, he picked up the guitar, and 2025 marks his 40th year performing solo with guitar and vocals. Steve specializes in easy listening music, sharing tunes that bring a smile and brighten the day.

This free program is open to the public. Following the performance, guests may stay for lunch provided by the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the North. Lunch reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance by calling 715-561-2108 ext. 1.
