And the Name is . . . Morning Perk!

Morning Perk is the new official name of our coffee area at the Mercer Senior Center! We’ve created a warm, welcoming space designed to foster connection, community, and well-being. Open every Tuesday and Thursday from 8–11 a.m., Morning Perk offers more than just free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. It’s a comfortable spot where adults can relax, read, use Wi-Fi, enjoy baked goods, and most importantly, engage with one another.

Thank you to everyone who submitted one of the 36 creative name ideas. Morning Perk was suggested by an anonymous Senior Center Friend who asked that the beautiful prize basket be given to someone else. So, the board held a drawing from all the name entries—and the winner is Nancy Sturgul! Thank you, Nancy, for attending our cookie decorating workshop, submitting a name, and bringing us those delicious maple cookies—it was a win-win!
